Laurie McAleenan

Laurie Justice McAleenan is the founder of Task Owl, an operations and strategy business helping small business owners build systems that hold steady as they grow. As an Online Business Manager, she works across the full range of what keeps a business running: leadership infrastructure, delivery systems, marketing execution, client experience, financial operations, and team delegation. She brings structure to the parts of the business that tend to live only in the founder's head.

Her approach is steady, precise, and visual, with an eye for clarity that most operations work is missing. What she builds for clients is simple: fewer moving parts, clearer systems, and a business that no longer depends entirely on the person who started it.

Laurie's first career was in graphic design, including technical documentation work supporting NASA's Space Shuttle program. She holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from Florida Southern College and an MFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University.

Laurie is OBM Accredited through OBM School. She lives in Chesterfield, Virginia, where she's an artist who spends her free time painting, crafting, and reading.
